Munawar Ahmed Principal

Munawar Ahmed founded Bluprint in 2006. She’s a user experience consultant with a passion for branding, digital strategy, user experience design, workflow streamlining, data modeling, and large-scale back-end system implementations. She runs a tight ship and has zero tolerance for poor design, sloppy documentation, convoluted architecture, or dead weight. On any given project, she is deeply involved from inception to release, and has been described as the unrelenting force that holds the entire project and its people together. Munawar graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Cognitive Psychology, from USC with an M.S.Ed in Curriculum and Instructional Design, and from Columbia University with professional certification in Systems Analysis and Software Engineering. Her book, The Art of User Experience, will be published in Fall 2012.

Matthew Schnepf Partner

Matthew Schnepf is a partner at Bluprint and has worked closely with Munawar since 2006. He has spent years advocating well-designed, streamlined, logical user interfaces and processes. He is a minimalist, a tinkerer, a stickler for details, and doggedly maintains an old-fashioned belief that there are no shortcuts. Matthew has worked at several world-renowned architecture and design firms in New York and he brings a breadth of design, documentation, process, and project management experience from outside the software industry. As an integral partner at Bluprint, Matthew has worked on a broad range of projects including web apps, desktop apps, iOS apps, and Salesforce implementations. Matthew graduated from Iowa State University with a B.Arch. in Architecture.

Fred Giordano Creative Director

With over 20 years of advertising, promotional marketing, and corporate communications experience, Fred has been immersed in digital media from its beginnings and has gained intimate knowledge of the challenges his clients face in building their brands by successfully supporting a variety of global companies in their online and offline marketing initiatives. Most recently he was SVP, Creative Director at Ryan Partnership, a Connecticut-based consumer promotions firm, leading the agency's digital and traditional creative efforts for brands such as CitationAir, Energizer Skin Care Division (Edge and Skintimate), NFL, Unilever (Hellmann’s and Breyers) and Wyeth Consumer Healthcare (Advil, Chapstick, Robitussin and Centrum). Before joining Ryan Partnership, Fred was the owner, business consultant and creative director for several small agencies, delivering marketing programs and technology solutions to a variety of well-known brands such as Barnes & Noble, Citibank, DHL, Fujifilm, IBM, Knoll, MetLife, Reuters, SAP, UPS, Weight Watchers, and led Xerox’s global employee intranet deployment for over 5 years. Fred holds a B.S. in Communications from New York University.

John Sullivan Hamilton Senior Interaction Designer

John Sullivan Hamilton knows how to craft the user experience. From concept to flow to visual design, you'll be well taken care of. John has worked on a wide range of high-profile brands over the years, including Nike, Delta, Expedia, Red Bull, Adobe, Kashi, Sabra, and various niche products and services, including Moonshine Whiskey, Big Foote Music + Sound, OMGICU / Sneakyshot, and Fav&Co. John has an incredible design aesthetic and understands how to preserve the integrity of a long-standing brand, and then taking it to the next level.

Quinn Shanahan Architect and Development Lead

As architect and development lead, Quinn Shanahan brings amazing user experiences to life. He's a huge proponent of Ruby on Rails, and is experienced in building and deploying large-scale, traffic-heavy sites and apps. In the words of the man himself: "I believe true coding bliss is achieved through fierce consistency, paired with thorough test coverage. I never consider my toolkit to be complete or final, I try to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-changing industry of the web."

Daniel Vazquez Technical Lead

Daniel Vazquez is a technical lead at Bluprint and worked with Munawar on their first large Salesforce implementation, integration, and migration project together. Daniel is a technical project manager and systems analyst, with a wide range of knowledge across various coding frameworks and software systems, including Salesforce, Doubleclick DSM and DFP, Brightcove, Commerce Server, BizTalk, ASP.NET, Oracle ERP, Oracle 10g, MS SQL Server 2005, MS SharePoint, Fast Search 4.0, Endeca, Red Hat Linux, Sun Solaris, Sybase, Tomcat, Apache, ATG Dynamo. Daniel graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics.

Frances Navratil Business Systems Analyst

After graduating from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2004, Frances began her career in Ad Sales Operations. She gained understanding of sales business needs through a series of analyst positions for television and digital media companies. Over the past 6 years, Frances has worked to build and optimize ad sales solutions by creating business units and implementing software. In 2007, Frances was asked to build an internal ad trafficking team at Everyday Health, while providing accurate, strategic reporting of ad sales revenue recognition of past delivery, present month’s expectations, and future pipeline forecast. Working closely with Munawar in 2008, Frances led the concurrent integration, configuration, customization, and migration of Everyday Health's instance of Salesforce with inventory management software DART Sales Manager (DSM). These programs continue to provide accurate inventory availability to the sales group, as well as a centralized database of accounts and an accurate pipeline.

Heidi Wong Research and Strategy

Heidi Wong's ability to research and strategize on nearly any topic makes her an invaluable member of the discovery phase and design phase of a project. Her impeccable attention to detail and ability to synthesize metrics lead all members of the team to better and more effective decision-making, much of which results in huge financial gains and an enhanced user experience. Heidi graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in International Relations.

Phong Bui Developer

Phong Bui's initial work was in the visual arts, including sculpture, painting, and printmaking. After moving to New York City, he found his professional stride in the intellectual and creative world of data modeling and process re-engineering. While working at a large media company, he quickly gained experience in several scripting languages and frameworks, reshaping his professional and creative understanding. His current focus is creating front-end and back-end tools that make information easily accessible and event-driven using Salesforce APEX and Visualforce. Phong Bui graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Architecture.
