Rob VanAlkemade is a filmmaker who specializes in getting the most from his stories and subjects with the quietest, least-intrusive footprint possible, from corporate headquarters to war zones. His pragmatic, supportive leadership of tactical, streamlined crews in every phase of production have resulted in a Sundance Jury award as Director, a new television series as showrunner, and a feature documentary for National Geographic made by exactly three people. A near-felonious high school dropout, Rob eventually graduated with honors from The New School for Social Research in New York with an MA in Media Studies.
